Celebrating 250 Years of the Boston Tea Party

We're bringing back a fan favorite in honor of the Boston Tea Party's 250th Anniversary as part of a city-wide initiative led by a consortium of organizations to commemorate the events that led to the American Revolution. While the anniversary is taking place on Saturday, December 16^th this year, we are releasing this brew to coincide with the date a special marker will be placed on our namesakes’, Samuel Adams, grave at the Granary Burial Ground. Boston will be the first state in the nation to mark the anniversary – make sure you don’t miss the grand-scale live reenactment taking place on December 16^th through Faneuil Hall and various points in Downtown Boston.

In their honor, we chose to brew our Green Tea Pale Ale to highlight the featured Singhlo Green Tea, one of the strains thrown overboard during the Boston Tea Party. This green tea was supplied from our Somerville friends, MEM Tea, and features notes of chestnuts and fresh autumn leaves paired with Polaris & Ella hops.
